PILATES EXERCISES FOR A PAIN FREE LOW BACK

Discover how to develop an understanding of dynamic alignment to functionally re-train core and spinal muscles. The course addresses the 7 causes of poor posture and the 8 steps to postural alignment. Common ailments and problems will be presented with the causes, recommendations, treatment and exercises. The workshop utilizes all the pieces of Pilates equipment for a complete program of exercises for low back and spinal issues.
PILATES FOR HEALTHY SHOULDERS AND NECKS

Misalignments and muscles imbalances between the shoulders and neck can be interrelated due to the muscle, nerve and fascia connections. The course addresses these connections and focuses on the alignment of the shoulders and neck. Common ailments and problems will be presented for both stability and mobility of the shoulder girdle and scapula with exercises for the cervical spine. Flexion, extension and rotation exercises will be presented for balanced muscle work, strength and flexibility.
